A vital component of Cimarron City’s renowned education system, Cimarron City Library (CCL) delivers high-quality public education for all.
We take pride in our Best Small Library Award, bestowed by the Kansas Library Association. CCL was selected for our educational programming for all ages and have adopted the Howard County Library Systems vision, “Libraries = Education.”

Find books and materials in all formats from our collection, and a vast array of e-resources – all made conveniently available to you by our experts.
2-Research Assistance & Instruction
Benefit from personalized research assistance with an Instructor & Research Specialist; sign up for our exceptional line-up of classes, seminars, and workshops for infants, toddlers, children, teens, and adults taught by CCL instructors.
3-Instructive & Enlightening Experiences
Discover our community partnerships, as well as our signature events, such as 1000 Books Before Kindergarten, Miniature Golf at the Library, STREAM programming for all ages, Summer Learning Academy, notable author events, and After Hours at the Library.
