get a Cimarron City Library card?
It is easy to get a library card!
Who can get a library card?
- Any adult resident of Gray County can apply for a free library card.
- Anyone who works in Gray County may also apply for a library card, free of charge.
- Anyone between the ages of 9-18 who has a parent/legal guardian who qualifies for a free library card can also get a free card.
- Anyone who does not qualify for a free card may still apply for a card with a $25 annual fee.
Just bring a current photo ID to the library and fill out an application. If your ID does not list a Gray County address, we will require proof of residency or employment in Gray County. If you do not live or work in Gray County, there is a $25 annual fee to have a Cimarron City Library card. Kids ages 9-18 must have a parent/legal guardian present to apply.
After application, there is a 24 hour wait period before you may pick up your card. You cannot checkout until your card is ready to be picked up.
